  • Head of Risk Management
    The job consists of managing the risk assets portfolios of the bank and the liaison between Group Risk Management. Key Objectives: Turnaround new credit proposals within stipulated timeperiod. Timely renewal of existing Credit Applications. Semi Annual Portfolio Reports Annual Industry Reports Day to day management of  country and bank limits – including annual review processes. Ensuring that the credit quality of the risk asset portfolio is maintained and that credit policies are kept current and in line with the strategic objectives set by the Executive Management.   Principle Responsibilities:    Risk Analysis and review of credit proposals from assigned countries.  Conducting Annual Credit Reviews of these portfolios. ·Regular monitoring of portfolio and preparation of semi-annual portfolio report.  Track Industry trends and prepare industry reports on an annual basis. Analysis/recommendation (above delegated authority) and decision (within delegated authority) on Corporate Banking, Treasury & SME credit proposals and excesses. ·Identify deteriorating risk profiles in consultation with  Group Head of Credit Risk (corporate, industry or market). Ensure that credit procedures and GRC/Higher Credit Authorities instructions are well carried out and that credit policies are kept current and in line with the strategic objectives set by the Executive Management. Provide risk input on local credit procedures and other issues including documentation and products, as and when required. Advise on SME and Retail program lending in respective countries. Follow-up the market & legal developments and assist in the preparation of Industry Reports. Advise/Decide on Private Banking credit proposals and requests.  Assist Group Head of Credit Risk and Deputy Group CEO Risk, Compliance & Legal analyzing and deciding on AUB Group (AUBK, CBIQ, AUBE, UBCI, ) credit proposals/requests.
